The Madoc Wesleyan & Free Methodist Church is seeking a Lead Pastor who can work together with us to fulfill the vision that we sense God has for our community of faith.  That vision is to be a family which works together to intentionally place the Gospel within reach of those around us and beyond, offering a home where they can belong and be nurtured, resulting in a multiplying community of Jesus-followers.  We belong together and you do too!

As Lead Pastor, s/he will be an individual with a strong personal faith, excellent and intentional communication skills, who embraces accountability.  This pastor will be a humble and sincere leader who has a heart for youth, but the desire and ability to connect with all age groups.  Through his/her leadership, s/he will help foster a desire in people to be engaged in both local and global communities.

Mission
Our mission is to equip and empower each individual, by fostering meaningful relationships with Jesus, while caring for one another, and by providing a well-equipped meeting facility, teaching and educational resources, and prayer support.

People – all people are image bearers of the Most High, have intrinsic worth, are in need of a relationship with Jesus, and can experience His saving grace
The Word – “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Prayer –ongoing, deepening fellowship with God, through which we seek His presence, and to see His Kingdom come, as our hearts come into alignment with His
Worship – the adoration and honouring of God, is the essence of a Christian’s life, and extends beyond Sunday mornings into every facet of life
Relationships – we were made for community, and should strive to live, serve and care together, keeping in mind that love is best demonstrated by action
Mission – We are committed to reaching those living outside of the Kingdom of God because they are important to God and to us, as we remember that we, too, were once lost
Family – resources should be provided to encourage and foster healthy family life
Growth – ongoing development of individuals is essential for deep and vibrant spiritual life
Generosity – God is glorified, and His love is demonstrated to others, when we are generous as He is generous
