The Stratford site of North Park Community Church is looking for a student to help coordinate and facilitate our Sunday morning Kids Church program for Grades 1-12 (divided into four groups).
Under supervision, this applicant would have the opportunity to organize and prepare curriculum, schedule volunteers, prepare the classrooms, and participate in teaching one of the classes each Sunday.
This position would require attendance of our Sunday morning service each week, plus planning time during the day, and a weekly supervisory and prayer meeting. This works out to approximately 6-10 hours per week. We are flexible on availability and length of the placement.
The student would be responsible for attendance, travel arrangements, team cooperation, learning how to work with vulnerable sector, learning safety procedures, signing a confidentiality agreement, signing North Park’s statement of faith, and following the staff handbook expectations. Training is provided, and the opportunity to continue is a possibility.
