The Stratford site of North Park Community Church is looking for a student to help coordinate and facilitate our youth program on a weekly basis, beginning in September.
Under supervision, and with adult volunteer assistance, this applicant would have the opportunity to organize and participate in youth programming for both Junior (Grades 7-8) and Senior (Grades 9-12) aged students.
This position would require one or two evenings per week, plus planning time during the day, and a weekly supervisory and prayer meeting. This works out to approximately 6-10 hours per week. We are flexible on availability and length of the placement.
The student would be responsible for attendance, travel arrangements, team cooperation, learning how to work with vulnerable sector, learning safety procedures, signing a confidentiality agreement, signing North Park’s statement of faith, and following the staff handbook expectations. Training is provided, and the opportunity to continue is a possibility.
