Live Online

Fall 2020

Most Fall 2020 courses are offered exclusively through Distributed Learning (also known as Distance Education). Two courses are available through Live Online. The list of course offerings is available here:

What is Live Online?

This dynamic, interactive style of online learning allows you to attend in-class courses live through the Internet. Each week, you will have the opportunity to watch the lecture and take part in class discussions and activities. Live Online courses allow for online learning to be more engaging by encouraging students to participate and collaborate with their peers.

How does Live Online work?

We use BigBlueButton web classroom software from our partners at Blindside Networks in Ottawa. Want to see how it works? Click here to watch a 5-minute video overview.

How can I try live online?

Email the College at info@emmanuelbiblecollege.ca to join one of the scheduled demonstrations and practice sessions. See if this learning approach can work for you!

What are the technical requirements?

Using a computer with Chrome gives the best user experience. We also ask Live Online students to use a headset, as it helps manage the audio for all learners. Finally, you’ll need an Internet connection that can support live streaming. Click here for details.

How do I sign up for a course?

Current students can contact the Registrar at registrar@emmanuelbiblecollege.ca. Prospective students can contact the Admissions Office at admissions@emmanuelbiblecollege.ca.
