There is an incredible video entitled “Amish Shed Move” you can easily find in a YouTube search. The event it captures is both astonishing and inspiring. Hundreds of people gather to lift an impossible load and move a very large shed a significant distance to its new resting place. It is an inspiring vision of the power in community. Each individual may wonder if they really make a difference. Yet, the shed moves and we as onlookers are astonished. A similar theme appears in scripture: what appears to be small, when planted in faith, becomes a tree in which the birds of the air can rest.
 
The vision of the Many Hands campaign is similar. Our “shed” is a big goal: to gain 150 new monthly donors. This challenge inspires and motivates us because we can accomplish incredible things when many hands come together for a common goal.
