Welcome to our new website and blog

–November 17, 2017

Seven years…that’s how long we had our previous website, and let’s face it, seven years for a website is…well, ancient! Launched in 2010, the old site was considered fresh, current, and represented the look of the time. However, style and technology have evolved, and eventually, the old site couldn’t keep up with the demands of current technology.

Why did we update it now?

Well, that’s easy…we freshened up our website for you! We designed the new website with you in mind. After dreaming, reviewing, planning and preparing for the last few months, we’re excited to finally share it with you. Not only is it 100% mobile friendly and easy to navigate, but it’s also easy to find the information that you are looking for.

But a new website isn’t all that we’ve launched.

We’re launching our new blog. Our goal is to share what’s going on at Emmanuel, provide insight into current ministry issues and trends, and bring a voice to Christian higher education in Canada. We’re passionate about sharing knowledge and best practices, and that’s why you’ll hear from various EBC faculty, staff and alumni, as well as from some of our ministry and organization partners. Our prayer is that this new site and blog becomes a resource for you, and our desire is to inspire and encourage you. May this be a tool to strengthen your gifts, your growth and His glory.

We also want to thank Nicole Sivyer, EBC alumni and former EBC Director of Communications, for leading this project. She was thrilled to come back and be involved with EBC again; working with us in her new capacity as a marketing and communications consultant. Life after EBC often comes full circle.

With all of that said, we are filled with ideas of what we would like to share here but we also encourage you to connect with us and tell us what you would like to see featured and covered. We value your input and ideas.

We want to hear from you!

Let's Connect

Good bye to the old…hello to the new! Here’s a trip down memory lane of the old site.
