The Alumni Association of Emmanuel Bible College is proud to offer the following group benefits to our Alumni Association Members! It pays to graduate from EBC!

Did you know that children of EBC Alumni Association members have a scholarship available to them of up to $1500 per year? The Alumni Association through various events raises scholarship money, which is crucial these days in helping students and parents offset the rising cost of post secondary education. Members of the Alumni Association of Emmanuel Bible College enjoy FREE borrowing privileges from the College Library. The Edna Pridham Memorial Library is named after the first graduate of EBC to enter missionary service. Edna Pridham was a beloved children’s educator in Nigeria, where she taught thousands of school children about Jesus love. She died in an automobile accident there in 1972. The library, which serves as resource centre, archives, and study area houses around 21,000 volumes and receives 75 scholarly and popular periodicals. Its Media Centre houses a Computer Lab with both instructional and word processing computer access.

Rationale
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions in their vocation and communities.

Nomination Form
Please provide as much detail as possible on the nomination form so that the Award Committee can know the impact and influence that the nominee has had. Your reflections on the nominee will provide helpful information for the selection committee.

Purpose of this award
* To honor and celebrate alumni who have gone on to become strong Christian leaders in their vocation demonstrating a servant heart
* Inspire other alumni and students to serve.
* Identify outstanding alumni within our community.
* Heighten the public image of Emmanuel Bible College by publicizing the contributions of the alumni.

Selection criteria
* Be a Emmanuel Bible College graduate
* Has made an unique contribution to the church, community, nation, world that is significant and worthy of recognition
* Reflect exemplary Christian character
* Has made a contribution representing the ideals and purposes of Emmanuel Bible College

Selection process
* Nominations are made from the alumni and faculty to the Alumni Executive Committee by March 1 each year.
* The selection committee consists of the Alumni Executive, 1 faculty (appointed by the President) and the Alumni Relations Director (nominations and nominates candidates to the president of the college.
* One alumnus will be selected to receive the award each year, unless the selection committee deems none of the nominees in a given year suitable.
The president announces and/or presents the awards at the College Graduation Service in April

Award
* Awardee would receive a framed award during the annual Graduation service.
* They would be invited to attend the Grad Luncheon which is held on the day of Graduation.
* They would be featured on the Alumni website page.
* They would be featured in the Alumni Newsletter.

Rationale
The Alumni Volunteer Award is to recognize and thank alumni who have demonstrated loyalty and commitment to their alma mater by supporting Emmanuel Bible College through significant volunteer leadership.

Purpose of this award
* To recognize those who have given selflessly of their time & energy to the needs of the college
* To identify the length of their volunteer involvement
* To inspire other alumni and students to volunteer
* Heighten the public image of Emmanuel Bible College by publicizing the contributions of the alumni

Selection criteria
* Be a member of the Alumni Association
* Reflect exemplary Christian character
* Demonstrate how the alumni has made a difference to the College by the length of their volunteer involvement, and/or loyalty and commitment to the projects

Selection Process
* Nominations are made from the alumni and faculty to the Alumni Executive Committee by March 1 each year.
* The selection committee consists of the Alumni Executive, 1 faculty (appointed by the President) and the Alumni Relations Director (nominations and nominates candidates to the president of the college.
* One alumnus will be selected to receive the award each year, unless the selection committee deems none of the nominees in a given year suitable.
* The president announces and/or presents the awards at the College Graduation Service in April

Award
* Awardee would receive a framed award during the annual Graduation service

The Honor Society of the Association for Biblical Higher Education

Rationale
The Delta Epsilon Chi Award is to recognize alumni who have demonstrated intellectual achievement, Christian character, and leadership abilities.

Purpose of this award
To encourage and honor alumni among the accredited institutions of the Association for Biblical Higher Education across North America:

Intellectual Achievement – Christian Character – Leadership Ability

Selection criteria
* Be a Emmanuel Bible College graduate
* Reflect exemplary Christian character
* Exhibit outstanding intellectual achievement
* Has made an unique contribution through their leadership ability to the church, community, nation, world that is significant and worthy of recognition

Selection process
* Nominations are made from the alumni and faculty to the Alumni Executive Committee by March 1 each year.
* The selection committee consists of the Alumni Executive, 1 faculty (appointed by the President) and the Alumni Relations Director (nominations and nominates candidates to the president of the college.
* One alumnus will be selected to receive the award each year, unless the selection committee deems none of the nominees in a given year suitable.
* This committee will make a selection and send that name to the Academic Council for final approval.
* The president announces and/or presents the awards at the College Graduation Service in April

Award
* Awardee would receive a framed award during the annual Graduation service
* They would be invited to attend the Grad Luncheon which is held on the day of Graduation
* They would be featured on the Alumni website page
* They would be featured in the Alumni Newsletter
