Student Services

The Student Services Department provides numerous services for students, including informal spiritual and personal counselling and referrals, basic career advice, and advocacy for students in a variety of venues. The Student Handbook provides much of the information that students need to understand in order to succeed at Emmanuel. You can access the online Student Handbook on the Emmanuel Bible College website.

Accessibility

Students with a diagnosed or suspected disability that may affect their academic performance or physical well-being are encouraged to contact the President and/or Dean. Information and assistance are available for needs assessment. Only students who have professionally evaluated disabilities will be considered for special accommodation in courses.

Spiritual Life

Emmanuel offers a number of initiatives aimed at nurturing spiritual life in the College community. Student Council partners with many of these initiatives.

Counselling Services

Stressed? Overwhelmed? Anxious? We get it. There’s a lot going on in your life during your college years. That’s why Emmanuel believes in a holistic approach to living. We recognize that sometimes life circumstances require additional emotional support. Our counselling team offers professional counselling to current students, and the best part….it’s completely free.

To book an appointment please send an email to the counsellor of your choice listed below.

Room 117 in the Sherk Building

Note: Emmanuel provides counselling at no cost to the student. However, with this service we want to promote good stewardship. Any student who misses a session with no notice to the counsellor may be billed $30 to their account. Cancellations are acceptable with 24 hours notice, or in the case of a medical emergency. Students are also limited to the number of sessions they can receive over the course of a semester and the year.
