JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Mail Clerk to help us with shipping and receiving mail in a timely, efficient, and confidential manner. We are willing to work with applicants with organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Someone who can work remotely with the company mailing department in achieving our overall goals.  You will use specialized equipment for scanning, metering, and delivering important documents and letters. You are also responsible for separating mail and packages into the appropriate categories for processing. Your duties are time-sensitive, so we need someone who can work quickly and efficiently within 2-3 hours daily.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Records arrival of mail.

Send mail to the correct department or recipient through local Postal Services.

Wrap packages and fill envelopes by hand, ensuring everything has the correct address and postage amount.

Drop Outgoing Mail to nearby Postal Services.

Maintains inventory of mailroom supplies.

Perform additional administrative duties when required to maintain the organization’s overall productivity.

Arrange pickup from the postal service and other delivery vendors.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Organizational skills.

Attention to detail.

Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.

Ability to read and understand a wide range of materials.

Typing, computing, and data entry skills.

Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
