Sound Tech & Media Ministry

LFCN is looking to hire someone to lead in our sound and technology ministry.
This person will have a passion to glorify God through providing excellent audio and visual services for the in-
person and live stream audiences.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
 College / technical trade school degree or equivalent live and worship experience.
 Ability to think quickly, communicate well and keep pace with fast moving services
 Must have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing relationship with Him.
 Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
 Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
 Must participate in a growth/Bible Study or life group
 Be a worshipper at heart
 Supportive of LFCN’s leadership and mission
 Strong servant leader
 Willing to learn new or needed skills in order to be competent
 Some experience in the use of:
Sound Boards and streaming systems
ProPresenter
Open Song
Video Switcher
Cameras
Premiere Pro and other Adobe Suite Programs
Lighting operations
 An understanding and some experience in all forms of social media.
 A Team builder
Willing to lead the team of volunteers who serve in these areas of ministry
Recruit and train new volunteers in these areas of ministry.
 Creative
Willing to brainstorm and come up with creative ideas on how to maximize LFCN’s online presence.
 Interested in technology in general.
 Have a good ear for music / audio quality
 Detail-oriented, thorough in pre-service preparatons
 Able to pay attenton to service cues while also being alert to any audio issues that might suddenly arise
 Ability to think quickly and react/trouble-shoot properly in high stress situatons.

QUICK OVERVIEW
 This ministry leader is responsible for se8ng up, operating, testing and troubleshooting audio and video
equipment. This includes but is not limited to, creating the best audio mix possible for the entire worship
service and supporting the needs of the people involved with church services or events.

 Attend Thursday evening and Sunday Morning Worship team practices.
 Attend Sunday Morning & Christmas Eve Services.

 

Contract Details:
Remunera5on: 10 hours per week @ $20.00 per hour + MERCs
Provisos: 3-month Proba5onary Period & Yearly Review
Start Date: Immediately
Renewal Contract Date: April 2023
